Clandestine Cake Club

What a spread!

Stars and Stripes cake

A very pretty Oreo Cake

Waiting to dig in!

Pretty plates make the cakes taste even nicer.

So this week saw the first Clandestine Cake Club in the North West and my first trip out to a social event in the North West. What a better way to start than with eating cake with a lovely bunch of ladies (no chaps though!)?? Held in the truley beautiful Cake Gallery in Hale and organised by Gwyn from Vintage Afternoon Teas, I can resoundingly saw it was a fabulous success and I look forward to the next one.
The best bit though; bringing home a box of leftovers

This week in the kitchen...

Lemon blueberry bundt cake for the Clandestein Cake Club

Summer in a bowl

Squished peaches

Petunia in an egg
The recipe for the lemon blueberry bundt cake is adapted from Ellie Jarvis and is devine (if I do say so myself). I just added some lemon ride to the blueberries and used a basic lemon icing to glaze as I'm not a fan of cream cheese frosting. Go make it NOW

Just some of my photos from previous holidays and wot-not. Just wanted to introduce my pictures and hopefully I'll be sharing more with you over the coming weeks, days, months and years....!
